The collection unfolds through olfactory expressions, each capturing a different facet of memory, place, culture, and human emotion.

From the intimate warmth of Asian Herbal Tea, selected for exhibition at Chiang Mai Design Week 2025 as part of The Sense of the Local, where the familiar warmth of herbal tea evokes an enduring bond between generations; to the cinematic melancholy of Fleur de Brume, inspired by Wong Kar-wai’s In the Mood for Love, contemplating the haunting beauty of things left unfinished, the desires never confessed, the words never spoken; and to TAYBAC, an olfactory portrait of Northwest Vietnam, carrying the spirit, landscapes, and indigenous ways of life of the region into a contemporary fragrance, an expression of the creator’s love for the land, and a piece of his heart offered to his homeland.

In THE REVERIE, fragrance becomes a vessel for these fragments transforming moments, emotions, cultural memories, and personal sentiments into something that can be sensed, remembered, and carried beyond their original place and time.

The Reverie

Asian Herbal Tea was shaped from a moment of return a childhood memory of a sweltering summer day in my grandmother’s kitchen. It is the smoke of the family, the still air of quiet reflection, a gentle childhood memory that continues to heal long into adulthood. Bitter yet soothing, pungent yet tender, familiar yet elusive above all, it is a fragrance that carries the living soul of Asia, preserved in memory.

Fleur de Brume is inspired by the cinematic world of Wong Kar-wai: In the Mood for Love.
Fleur de Brume is a lingering hesitation. One step forward, one step back, circling between light and shadow. Like a thin trace of fragrance left in the night: radiant, haunting, and forever elusive.

The Spirit of Northwest Vietnam
TAYBAC is an olfactory journey that brings the vibrant spirit and rich culture of Northwest Vietnam to the world. It opens with a crisp, green, and gently peppery mountain breeze that inspires pure freedom. As the fragrance unveils, soft notes of young tea leaves, warm highland rice, and delicate wild orchids capture the gentle rhythm of highland life. Finally, it grounds into a serene depth of rich tobacco and sandalwood, reminiscent of ancient mountain forests. TAYBAC embodies the fleeting beauty of a rain shower over terraced fields, a poetic scent that holds the vast Northwest close to your heart.

Six Veils of Scent is a journey through six layers of fragrance.

Not simply an indulgence, it is a ritual of transformation, where scent does more than envelop, it becomes part of your being. Each creation unfolds and permeates through every movement, like a second skin, like an innate presence. They are not fragmented. They crystallize within the current of your emotions - seamless, profound, and inseparable.

Doucé does not seek to tell a story. We open space for you to fill with your own sensations. And perhaps, at some quiet moment, you’ll realize: "The first veil has already begun to lift."
